AEON has partnered with Bitget Wallet to deliver native Web3 mobile payment functionality, making Bitget the first self‑custodial wallet to support Vietnam’s VietQR system. Users can now complete cryptocurrency payments by scanning QR codes at over 20 million Southeast Asian merchants and global brands like McDonald’s, Starbucks, and Uniqlo. The collaboration will also extend to the Philippines’ QR Ph system and Nigerian bank transfers.
