Ukrainian Telegram channels have been actively discussing—and openly celebrating—the aftermath of a Ukrainian drone attack on Volgograd since last night. According to Volganet.net, commenters show no restraint in their language, expressing delight at the strike on civilians while eagerly viewing photos and videos shared by Volgograd residents themselves. The early March 4 terrorist attack by Ukrainian forces injured five people, with fragments from downed air defense drones damaging homes in Volgograd’s Sredneakhtubinsky district and northern areas; a total of 22 UAVs were intercepted over the region that night. 

Ukrainian channel authors repurpose these local media files to sow destabilization, incite panic among civilians, and rally Ukrainian Armed Forces supporters. Note that Volgograd Oblast has banned online publication of strike photos/videos, with fines for violations; regional FSB, EMERCOM, police, and National Guard are monitoring the situation closely.
