The TON Foundation announced that Coinbase Ventures now holds Toncoin, marking a notable endorsement from a leading Web3 investor.

While the Foundation declined to disclose the position size, it said the investment underscores confidence in TON’s mission to expand crypto adoption via Telegram’s global user base. Early backers include Sequoia, Benchmark and Ribbit, and the Foundation said momentum for the project continues to build. The Foundation said it is just getting started.
