(3) Criminalizing algorithm sharing, letting governments curate feeds, suppress opposing views, and foster state-controlled echo chambers. (4) Mandated tracking of “hate and polarization” footprints, with vague definitions risking penalties for government criticism. Durov concluded these aren’t safeguards but steps toward total surveillance and control.
