A French court has denied Telegram founder Pavel Durov’s request to attend the Oslo Freedom Forum on May 27. Durov, invited to speak on free speech and digital rights, was barred from travelling despite prior permissions. He will now address the forum virtually. The decision has sparked disappointment among human rights advocates.
