Ton Blockchain unveiled Jetton 2.0, a new smart contract delivering up to three times faster transfers under heavy load. This boost leverages shardchain optimizations, placing the jetton-wallet and owner’s wallet in the same shard using StateInit.fixed_prefix_length.

Jetton 2.0 succeeds Jetton 1.2 (used by tokens like $NOT), was developed by the TON Core team, tested with unit tests, and improved by community developer Andrew G Kiba. A Tolk-language version will follow.
