Kuban Emergency Ministry Stops Updating Its Telegram Channel

The Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) of the Krasnodar Region announced that, starting January 2, it has ceased publishing updates on its official Telegram channel.

According to a statement from the regional directorate, all official news, emergency reports, preventive materials, and urgent warnings will now be posted exclusively on the ministry’s channel within the MAX messenger platform.

The move marks a significant shift in the Ministry’s communication strategy, as Telegram had previously served as a key channel for issuing timely public safety announcements and weather alerts. The agency did not specify the reason for the transition but emphasized that MAX will now serve as its primary platform for official communications.
