In Kazakhstan, as in many other countries, content monetisation on social networks is no longer reserved for major media brands. New data indicate that Telegram channel authors can now earn substantial income from their content without personally searching for advertisers or handling negotiations. Since monetisation through Yandex Ads launched in 2023, partners of the Yandex Advertising Network—primarily Telegram channel owners—have already received more than $57 million in rewards for displaying ads. 

This is a striking result for a relatively young monetisation platform. The figures look even more impressive given that business investment in promotion via Telegram doubled in 2025 compared with the previous period, underscoring the growing appeal of the messenger as an advertising channel for brands and a stable revenue source for creators.
