Telegram for Android receives its biggest interface update to date, introducing a fixed bottom navigation bar for faster one-tap access to chats, settings, profile, and more. The app has been rebuilt for efficiency and improved responsiveness, with an updated search experience and streamlined navigation. In addition to the redesign, a new crafting system lets users combine collectible gifts to create Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary variants, expanding the gifting experience. 

Other notable changes include automatic group ownership transfer when a group owner leaves, color-coded buttons for bots to improve usability, and enhanced Liquid Glass visuals on iOS. Android users can adjust performance by toggling interface effects in Power Saving to balance visuals with battery life. The update signals Telegram’s push toward a cohesive cross-platform look and richer feature set.
