In just one year, Telegram Gifts have evolved from simple images into a major social and economic phenomenon. Analysts at Getgems, using Dune data, estimate that trading volume for Telegram Gifts reached $292 million in the first 11 months since launch, with market capitalization at about $128 million as of November 2025. Over 2 million users now own nearly 9 million gifts, and some iconic collections have skyrocketed in value. 

Plush Pepe, which debuted at $30 in December 2024, climbed to a floor price above $9,700 by November 2025, a 326-fold increase, with individual sales hitting $200,000 and October trading alone at $4 million. Another key collection, Durov’s Cap, rose from $15 to $1,420. Getgems calls Telegram a unique digital economy where gifts express both emotion and status.
