Telegram’s message translation service is gradually restoring after a two-week outage. Users worldwide had encountered a “Translations are currently disabled” error message starting June 26th. Telegram confirmed the issue via X, stating the feature was temporarily unavailable for technical fixes.

As of July 10th, translation capabilities are reappearing for many users. However, restoration is inconsistent: some users report full functionality, others can only translate in specific chats, and some still cannot translate any messages.
