Telegram is testing a new feature that allows users to play music directly on their profile as an audio status. This feature, initially introduced in 2012 by VK, lets users display a playlist of songs on their profile that other users can listen to. Adding music is simple: users send a track to any chat, even their “Saved Messages,” then click the track and select “Add to Profile.” Additionally, users can add songs from other profiles’ playlists. 

The new music-sharing option enhances user interaction by integrating audio content within Telegram profiles. This feature is still in testing and is expected to be rolled out in upcoming Telegram updates, giving users a richer way to express their musical tastes. The feature is independent of any rating or ranking system.
