The latest Telegram update introduces text tags that appear next to users’ names in group chats, allowing members to show their role, job title, apartment number, interests, and more. Group admins can decide whether only they can assign tags or allow members to choose their own, with admin tags always highlighted in color. Telegram also adds an option to block sharing from any private chat: if enabled, participants cannot forward or copy messages, take screenshots, or save media; this setting is currently available only to Telegram Premium users. 

Other improvements include captions for GIFs, instant sticker creation from photos, and powerful editing tools for GIFs and stickers. Public polls now show when each vote was cast, and bots can output answers gradually. A new “Login with Telegram” system lets users register or sign in to apps and websites without forms or passwords.
